It is for this Saturday...afternoon around 3pm and I need for it to be family friendly but also offers alcohol. I was hoping for something around Cool Springs if possible...it is for a small school reunion. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

This is probably way off base, it's not at all close to Cool Springs...but Arrington Vineyards has picnic tables outside and you can get a picnic catered or BYO, they sell wine and have music. Otherwise, I can't think of a place for a large group.

Some of the pizza places have tables outside....maybe you could reserve them?

Maffiosas on 12th South has a pretty large back patio. I've seen office get togethers back there. Not sure how many your trying to accomodate though. I'm pretty sure there's no smoking in the restaurant, I'm guessing smoking is allowed on the patio. Not sure if this is family friendly enough, I do know it's the best pizza in Nashville.

Yeah...Arrington Vineyards in Arrington. My husband and I talked about going for a long time and finally did a few weeks ago. On Saturday nights there is usually a jazz band but there's always picnic tables outside and tables on the patio...people bring their own picnics, we saw everything from candelabra and fancy spreads to a table with a bottle of wine and a box of cheezits. We're having company at the end of May and plan to take them there.

Restaurants in Cool Springs with outdoor seating for 20ish with booze:
-Swanky's Taco Shop
-Cajun Steamer
-Bosco's - might be a little tight
-Cozymel's
-Blue Coast Burrito - pretty sure they have beer in their cooler
-Jonathon's
-Las Palmas
-Mexicali - not sure patio is quite big enough

All I can think of offhand that serves alcohol.

I realize this has already passed, but for others...Wild Ginger in Cool Springs has a great outdoor area.
