Default Buyer's Agent Recommendations/Experiences?

Not sure if this question is allowed per the Terms of Service...I know real estate agents aren't allowed to solicit business here, and I'm really looking for opinions and past experiences of home buyers, not thoughts from the agents themselves. I know word-of-mouth recommendations are generally the best way to find buyer's agents, but not many people I know have bought real estate, so I'm trying to get my hands on honest, unbiased info here.

My question is...does anyone have recommendations for good buyer's agents in the Nashville area or have any ideas on how to get such recommendations? And if it's allowed, does anyone have any thoughts on agents I should stay away from? Is there a website somewhere where I could look up such information? Everything I have found has been opinions/reviews posted by agents themselves, but I want to know the real deal.

I'll be a first-time home buyer and I'm still several months away from buying anything...just starting to think ahead. I'm looking at single family homes/townhomes within Nashville itself and south of Nashville down I-65 as far as Franklin. Price point is no more than $200K. Not interested in "transitional" areas. So I'm trying to find the best possible agent who typically works in the areas I mentioned and also at my price point.

Default Another buyer's agent request

Looking for a single family home under 160k in East Nashville/Inglewood, Edgehill, or the Sylvan Park/Heights/Nations area. Someone with experience with short sales/bank owned properties (since my budget is tight, especially for some of the areas) would be great. Please personal message me if you know someone who fits the bill!
