Default MITCHELL NEILSON a good school?
does anyone know anything about mitchell neilson? it received a 7 of 10 on great schools, but aside from testing-anyone know about the teachers, principals, etc.?

also, ROCKVALE elementary??????

Movin'mama09 is on a distinguished road
what about barfield elementary? it got a 9 of 10 on greatschools, but most of the reviews said it was really overcrowded.....

All I know about Barfield Elementary is that it is a nice looking school in a very nice area. I never heard anything bad about it. I have forst hand experience with Scales Elementary and love it and never heard a bad thing about Blackman elementary either. Rockvale did not do as well on standardized testing as the others I mentioned did, but that does not make it a bad school. There are just a limited number of Murfreesboro people here with knowledge on the individual schools. Unless we have had or presently have a child in one of the schools mentioned, we do not have much information beyond what you can find on the internet. I believe Stewartsboro Elememtary is excellent as well.

thanks everyone! i promise i will stop asking about schools soon-we have 1 week to narrow down where we are going to live....
