Hi

Just looking for some input.

We have a potential move to the Nashville area. We are looking for great schools with some acreage. We would love to have at least 2-3 acres. Is there some areas you would recommend? The highest we can go is $250,000. We are open to a commute to work.

Thanks so much!!!!

You should check out Mt. Juliet, Thompson's Station and Fairview if you want acreage at that price. Others might know some other places.

The northern side of Hendersonville/Goodlettsville in the Beech School District would be a place to look, but it would probably be the upper end of your price range. Hogans Branch Rd, Happy Hollow Rd, and Long Hollow Pike are places you would find homes and land to go with them.

You can find a house on 3 acres in a decent school district pretty much anywhere with the exceptions of Brentwood and Hendersonville from what I'm seeing on the MLS...

There is actually one in Brentwood right now but it's kinda beatup looking and on the Nolensville border..

Good luck !

Avoid Davidson County.

I absolutey LOVE rutherford county. I've lived here for 26 years and you can find houses squished together with no yard, or you can live in a neighborhood with a little bit of yard, or you can live in a more rural area of the county and have 3-20 acres! and the schools are great! my husband used to teach at a Rutherford County school
