NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Preparations were underway Friday for Music City's "Let Freedom Sing" Independence Day celebration. Before the first firecracker flashed across the sky, downtown businesses saw a boom in their sales.

Nashville has been known to throw a party, and what better way to spend Independence Day than with 100,000 of your closest friends? It's the 25th annual Let Freedom Sing celebration at Riverfront Park on Saturday.
