Talking Teaching in Springfield, TN

Hello-

I am new to this site and am in the process of interviewing for teaching position in Springfield, TN. I have read prior posts on how beautiful and nice the area is and am hoping to secure this position. I currently live in a smaller community in Ohio, but do enjoy shopping and city-type ammenities. I have read prior posts about surrounding communities in Robertson Co. but most posts are older. Could someone give an updated idea of what Springfield is like and any teachers who teach in this area. Where is a good location for a 30 something single to move to. I don't want a long commute but a nice safe neighborhood on a teacher salary. Thanks!
