Default Good time to tour Nashville

would like to take a drive thru downtown Nashville, is there a time that is better than others to drive around down there? Like a Sunday morning or something? Don't mind traffic but do not desire bumper to bumper traffic or rush hour.

I would think a Sat or Sun morning would be good but what do you guys think?

Yes, Sunday morning would be a good time. So would Saturday morning generally (especially before 10:00 am), although you'd probably want to check the event calendar; sometimes when there's something going on downtown on Saturday they close some of the streets (it doesn't happen often, but it does happen). Labor Day is coming up--that would probably be a good time as well.

I agree...weekend mornings are probably best. Just check for preseason Titans football...it gets a little crazy in the evenings during those games. And Saturday evenings around Broadway and 4th-2nd Avenues are very busy. But I've been downtown on Sunday evenings and it's generally a ghost town compared to Saturday night.

Enjoy downtown! It's a fun and interesting place.

Sunday mornings have always been one of my favorite times to look around. The sun comes up from the east side and everything always looks so good.

I haven't been doing that much this summer, but this past Sunday a.m. I did just that. Here's a couple of shots from the Public Square Observation tower.

Dederick St looks sooo much better without the bus stuff. A little paving and it'll be done.

Yeah, seriously...wow. I work downtown but haven't been on Deaderick in ages. That's beautiful.
