Best pizza we've had is Angelos in Antioch. It's just past the intersection of Bell Rd and Murfeesboro Rd on Murfreesboro Rd. We've been here over a year and just found this place. We've been all over Nashville in search of a good pizza.

I look forward to trying Angelos. New Yorkers utter the fact that you can't get "real" pizza outside of the area. I haven't extensively traveled all over the US, but I never had it outside of the NY metro area either. Anything with all those toppings like pineapple and hot sauce are not traditional, even though it can be very tasty. However, I did eat pizza at MelloMushroom. It was very good. Not like authentic Brooklyn pizza, but I liked it. Really, I will manage to survive without the pizza and the bagels. I liked the biscuits which is something unheard of in New York. Just want a nice place to make my nest.

I think Radnor is in Oak Hill. We used to live in walking distance to Radnor and our house was in Oak Hill. It is a beautiful area, we had deer in our yard all the time. But I can't think of any apartments in the area. Crieve Hall is right across Franklin Road, you might be able to find a duplex to rent there. It is on the bus line.I love Franklin, but it wouldn't be my first choice for public transportation to Nashville. I would also think it would be more expensive than Bellevue. One of my friends rented an apartment here:http://www.woodmontterrace.com/index.htmIt's in Green Hills, right on Woodmont. They are older, but very charming. Limited amenties, but that didn't sound like an issue for you. I would consider this area based on your critera.
