Default Belle Meade Mansion Fall Fest this weekend

Is anyone planning on going to this? It's Saturday from 9-5. I was thinking about going, but I was wondering if it would be worth it. Is it more of a kid oriented thing? (No kids here.) Just wondering if anyone has input on this.

I heard that they will soon have a winery there. That should be interesting!

I went for a tour of the plantation when my mom was in town and we loved it. Martha's has really good food too!

I would say it's more of an adult oriented event. There are some things set up for kids, but most of it is for adults. If you like crafts fairs, you'd probably enjoy it. There's usually music and a number of higher quality food vendors (not just hot dogs, cotton candy, and snow cones).

I've went before with a friend of mine. It's hard to drag her away from the "cheap jewelry tents". I can't take her this year because it's also "Doggy Day" at Centennial Park and she absolutely loves going to that.

The only problem this year is the rain. It's spread out over the grounds so if it's raining it's going to be messy as people try to move around and crowd into the tents and barn.

I love Martha's.

I hope the doggies don't get wet at Centennial Park.
