Good Place to Find Townhouses for Rent? (Franklin, Brentwood: for sale, real estate)

Hi! I'm so glad to have found this forum--you guys provide so much great info! So, I'm moving to Nashville in the next month or so and we're trying to find either a townhouse or an apartment/condo for rent that has an attached garage or maybe even a basement. I know we're trying to stay within the area between Belle Meade/Brentwood/Hillsboro (southwest Nashville, right?), and we really need the storage that a garage provides...

Traditional rental sites like Rent.com don't seem to be doing the trick, and Craigslist is only so/so, but I know that some towns have specific rental sites that are local to them and often have the best options. If anyone knows of sites like that, or specific townhome communities that offer rentals, I'd be so, so appreciative for the info!

I would check realtracs.com. It's a real estate web site that just for this area. It has homes for sale and rent. The places you have listed are in Davidson County and I believe it's area 2. The problem you might run into is the garage situation. I think most condos in that area probably don't have garages. I see more of those kinds of condos out in Franklin and the Cool Springs area.

Ypu should check out the River Plantation area in Bellevue.

They are small houses/townhomes that are quite nice for the price, the neighborhood is lovely, and they ALL have small garages attached to them. Bellevue is in West Nashville, about 5 to 10 mins away from Belle Meade and Green Hills, and about a 5 min drive into West Meade. Great schools, nice neighbors, and a quiet suburban area.

Look up River Plantation in 37221 and see if they have anything available, I know they usually have wait lists.....

I just looked them up, they are actually not rental units, but you can lease them for cheap. I just found a two bedroom for 1075/mo, split level, fireplace, covered car port for two cars, with a locked storage unit inside car port. Not bad....for the area you're looking in. Belle Meade, Green Hills, and Brentwood are expensive areas of Nashville.

If you can visit, go to the Old Hickory Boulevard corridor of Brentwood and South Davidson... there are lots of townhomes there. See if you can find a few for rent in the Tennessean www.tennessean.com classifieds.
