Duplex rentals in Nashville area
Talking with my wife, we have narrowed our interest to renting a duplex or a small home (2/2). We have a cat and a dachshund, so pets are an issue. I was wondering about the abundance of rentals around? I have checked the big rental websites, but found only 4 or 5 options. I personally prefer a small house, but don't mind settling on a duplex if my neighbor isn't a jackass.
Anyone know of a good local site that advertises these type rentals, with exception to Craig's List?

Try www.realtracs.com. It's a real estate site just for this area...and it has places to buy as well as places to rent. You can search by area and pretty much any options you might want.

Believe it or not, I found our rental on craigslist. Of course, you want to be careful, but we were able to find a duplex for a very reasonable price. We are in Columbia, but we are thinking of moving closer to Nashville due to my job and I always search craigslist. Just a thought.
Realtracs is great for homes for sale, but has a limited amount of rentals - at least from what I have searched.

Next week, my wife and I are visiting her brother for a week in Brentwood. We will be checking out a few places during the week to get an idea as to where we should go. I personally can't wait to head up there and check it out.
It's amazing when talking to people from the Nashville area about life, how crappy it is here(South FL). Everyone has said the same phrases: "culture shock" and "rude" about the people here(West Palm Beach, FL). I'm a native to South Florida and I have to agree. I haven't let it get to me though, I still try to be as nice as possible to everyone. There are exceptions, but to most people here, that makes you a welcome mat. I CANNOT WAIT to get there and see the niceness returned. It will be such a breath of fresh air.
