Default New to the forum and I need some Big Help

Howdy all!

I need some guidance and hopefully someone can help.

I am wanting to relocate to the Nashville area come summer of 2008 and I have a few questions.

1) What areas are low crime around Nashville.

2) Are there any HIGH CLASS mobile or Modular Home parks...not parks that do not have the old tin can "Urban Cowboy" themed homes. I am looking for a pleasant park to live in.

3) Are there any areas that should be avoided due to flooding problems.

4) Has anyone bought land and placed a modular home on it? Is so, who much was the total cost of getting electric and water hooked up?

Looking forward to my moving to Tennessee and meeting new people.

Thanks a bunch

Donna

I can't answer most of your questions. Here's a couple of comments.

I would be leary of most mobile home parks in the greater Nashville area, unless they're sort of out in the county in one of the neighboring counties. You might have more luck just looking for a single mobile house out in the rural areas somewhere. Is there some reason you want a mobile home park per se?

As for flooding, most areas in low lands near rivers or creeks are possible flood areas during extremely heavy rains. If you buying, be use to check out the 100 year flood maps before you buy.
