My family is moving to Nashville area and have looked in Hendersonville, Nolensville, Franklin, and Brentwood. We love Ravenwood school but are not set on it. Our price range is about 350,000-400,00. We are picky and don't want a road or another homeowner staring into our family room. We would like 3200 sq feet. Does anyone have any suggestions on which of these areas would be best? Hendersonville or Nolensville seem to be most affordable. Which would you recommend? How safe are these two areas? Any stigma regarding Hendersonville or Nolensville?

Hendersonville is extremely safe. I think you could find a nice home in your price range in several areas.

Several areas I would recommend looking:

1. The Indian Lake Peninsula. Neighborhoods like Berry Hill offer new construction but are still in the center of the city. You'd be within walking distance of the schools and very close to parks and shopping areas. This area is zoned for Hendersonville High School.
2. Drakes Creek Rd/Long Hollow Pike. Drakes Pointe and Somerset Downs are some really nice neighborhoods in this area in the north of Hendersonville will rolling hills and horse farms. It's right off of the bypass and near Indian Lake Village but you really feel like you are in a rural area. These areas are zoned for Beech Schools which are highly rated.
3. Saundersville Road/Station Camp area. This area also has a lot of the picturesque views of the rolling hills and countryside. There's been a lot of development here since Station Camp High School opened and it's zoned for that school.
