Can anyone tell me where you might find a place to go(besides Broadway) where there is a live band? ..you know the kind that might play classic rock?!
...no country....no songwriters...just some good dancing and fun music?

Yeah, wouldn't want you to have to listen to any of those darn songwriters

Try Exit In, 12th and Porter, 3rd and Lindsley, the Sutler and often Rockettown. They all feature a good mix. Lots of different styles, but these probably feature more rock than most.

Good luck!

Paradise Trailer Park Resort on Broadway at 4th Avenue has an awesome band every Saturday night. They are a southern rock cover group; you'll hear Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet and the likes. They do play some country, but none of the gay newer stuff like Keith Urban or Tim McGraw; it's straight up Johnny Cash, Bocephus, and the Possum. The place is always packed with fine girls too, and no thugs, so you really can't go wrong.

Huh? I was being serious, it's a cool place. Not sure what wasn't nice about my post, unless you're a die-hard Keith Urban or Tim McGraw fan, which the OP obviously isn't.
