I have lived in Gallatin for two years now and still have yet to meet a decent mom to hang out with or have a play date with. I am trying to create a meetup group, but I'm not interested in paying a monthly fee to do so, like some of the websites are doing.
I have three children (Jamie is 4 and he is special needs, Memphis is two and Olivia and 9 months) and would love for them to have some other kids to play with. And I wouldn't mind having some conversation in my life!
I've joined meetup groups before, but have never gone to a meeting, as I'm pretty shy and I think I would have an anxiety attack by the time I arrived.
Any suggestions??!!

Hi! I'm owner of Dynamics a childrens activity center in Gallatin- we are just in the planning stages of offering a free program for children with special needs- and our standard classes in gymnastics start at 18 months. We also offer martial arts and dance. So many times the parents of students in the same class become great friends and do play dates outside the programs. I'd love to have you come try our program! Maybe you can find a great mom within our family!

I have been attending a singles group at Long Hollow Baptist in Gallatin. Its just getting started so there are only about 5 of us. But we would love to have you come and join us one Sunday. Its at 10 oclock at LHBC Gallatin, which is on Hartsville Pk right before Airport Rd on the left hand side. Our goal is to develop some new friendships and a support system in a christian atmosphere. The leader of the class may be able to relate to you as she is a parent of a special needs child as well. =)
