ejk, I live directly across the River from Opryland and I work in Brentwood. I am heading out of town in the morning, while the bulk of traffic is Northbound. It ain't pretty.

I urge you to look closer to the Northern end of Nashville. Hendersonville is an easier drive, as is Ridgetop, Goodlettsville and Millersville. Also, Mount Juliet is close-by.

Actually, for Nashville, I would call a mega-church those with 2,500 or more people.

There's one out in my neighborhood (Bellevue) that big enough that they call their church location a "campus". There are hiking and bike trails on the church property! No, I'm not kidding.
MY Church in Brentwood has 6400 people. I think that's huge because my last church had about 65 people.

Yes Hendersonville would be an excellent choice for a commute to Opryland. Every time I've been to Hendersonville I have been impressed with the community.

Just want to throw out another vote for Hendersonville as being ideal if your job is in Opryland.

Not only is it one of the safest communities in Middle Tennessee with no projects, VERY low crime stats, and top-notch schools, but the area itself is beautiful with recreational activities galore.

The commute to Opryland would be a piece of cake. The morning traffic on I-65 southbound doesn't get bad until just past the Briley exit, so you would circumvent all the bumper-to-bumper stuff. As long as there's no crash on Vietnam Veterans Blvd., your commute will be free-flowing from beginning to end.

PM me if you have any specific questions about the area.
