Default Best Affordable Hotels in Downtown Nashville?

Hey, folks,

I will be in Nashville in Late July and early August for a week. I have been to Nashville before and I enjoyed my stays there.

But I need a hotel that is

1.Not off the interstate
2.Right in downtown or close to it (West End Ave)
3.CLEAN
4.Under 100$ a night

Does anyone have any reccomendations?

Or maybe even a bed and breakfast. Creative Cottage is all booked up for the summer.

Let me know!

Thanks.

If you happen to want a couple of cheap places to eat for lunch while you're there, there's a barbeque place and a pizza place over at Fountain Square. The barbeque place is Neely's, which has made something of a name fir itself in Memphis. The barbeque is okay (not the best, not the worst), but get them to leave off the sauce, and put the cole slaw on the side.

While you're there, you might want to explore Farmer's Market and Bicentennial Mall; they're between where you're staying and downtown. It's fun to just sit and watch the kids play in the spray fountains.

I work over in that area.

I found Extended Stay Vanderbilt on West End Ave for the weekly rate. I booked it so I just hope its clean .
Perfect location though.

Before in Nashville I stayed at the Embassy Suites. The Rooms were great, but the service was rude.

I expected more. But of course I'm from Richmond, where I'm used to Southern hospitality.

It looks okay from the outside. It should be clean and safe in that area.

You can get from there to downtown by driving down West End/Broadway, or hop on I-440 and loop right around to downtown.

Hi vasinger,

I have stayed at best western hotels in adn around Nashville. Not fancy but just fine, prices under 100 in most of them...check out Best Western International Hotels - HOME select Nashville...there are 14 in and around Nashville. There are discounts for various things (ie senior citizen, AAA, etc). I have had a nice danish/donuts and coffee breakfast that was complimentary.Hope this helps...:-)

Have a wonderful time on your visit and all your days too...lol

in peace,
Optimum
