Default Harpeth River Flood

Former TN resident looking for some info. I've been watching the news about the flood in the Nashville/Franklin area. Wondering if anyone can tell me how bad the flooding is around the River Rest subdivision/Sneed Forest subdivision/Moran Road area (Williamson County)? I grew up in this area and lived there for many years, and I know this area is prone to flooding. The pictures of downtown Franklin flooded are shocking!

It is pretty bad in cottonwood and fieldstone farms. Pinnkerton park is completely under water. The water was up to the road on both sides.

When I drove pass Grassland Middle on Saturday morning the puddle there was huge after only 4" of rain.

The tennessean has some pictures up under the Williamson Tab.

I know someone there and the water only made it to the 1st step, so I assume its ok there.

The rear part that backs up to the river, namely Glastonbury Dr., Gillette Dr. etc.

My friend who lives in the north end of cottonwood left a message that her house was OK, even the lower level garage. So it's not a total washout, but she is on the (somewhat) high side of the neighborhood.

Last i heard the nursing home and retirement community off Bent Tree/Coley Davis Rd. did have major flooding...but they were able to get all the residents to higher levels and/or evacuated. This was last night. I was over there today helping friends recover what was left in their homes and the water had receeded tremendously. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help your situation and also let us know when you find your relative.
