I am visiting Nashville next weekend and am looking to find other soccer fans to enjoy the World Cup matches with. The people I am meeting are not soccer fans and I am not willing to miss the matches, although I do not want to sit and watch alone. I have been told that Bailey's downtown is a great place to meet & enjoy the matches. I have contacted them and they are showing ALL matches and even opening up early for the US matches. So, please respond if there is a better place to watch. I really need to find other soccer fans in the Nashville area.

Where to Watch the World Cup in Nashville - Associated Content - associatedcontent.com

Check out the three venues listed in the link above. They are all within walking distance to each other. I don't know how they will be for the World Cup (I moved here less than a year ago) but a few friends and I are checking out Sam's for opening afternoon.

I heard 12th South Taproom is showing the games too. I ate dinner there recently and I think it would be a fun place to watch the game, whether you are soccer fan or not. I love their outside sitting too.

For those interested, other places to check out - Dan McGuiness (Demonbruen Street - Music Row area), McNamara's Pub upstairs area (Donelson), The Village Pub and Beer Garden (Riverside Village - Inglewood), and Beyond The Edge (Five Points - East Nashville). Whoo Hoo, can't wait...

Apparently some of the Red Coats across the pond think it's going to be a walk in the park...hopefully we prove them wrong -
