We had a lot of monarchs come through earlier this week before the cold front. The kitty that lives outside was sitting under a big flowery bush, completely unaware that about 20 butterflies were hovering over her.
That would make a fun picture.

I've noticed a lot of dew on the grass in the mornings since the weather cooled. A contrast to summer when its' too warm even in the early morning to find much dew.

Saw the first Northern Harrier, down for the winter----male is brown w/long tail that has a distinctive white stripe around it...a raptor, like falcons, eagles etc.

I tried to get a picture of her but my itouch gets blurry from far away. No idea where my digital is.

It's beautiful out today. The squirrels are taking over the Capitol grounds, gathering nuts. Or are those raccoons???
