Oh, they are so beautiful!

In the winter I have frozen buds as well as hips on my roses, it's been this way for the past 20 years ?!

Today I saw that my 'passionate rainbow' gaura has put out lush full leaves at the base. This will be it's first winter and I love the plant but it's suscpetible to winter die-off so I have my fingers crossed - and plan to pile aster clipping on top !

....I caught my first Redfish today, across the street from my house. We don't get these fish around here very much at all, that's why I've never caught one. It was fun!

Today crossing the causeway, there were hundreds of pelicans bobbing in the bay. It was quite the sight!
