Here's a picture from last autumn. In a few weeks maybe there will be time to take some more.

Little known fact, the turkey buzzard will spew vomit as a defense mechanism. And it stinks something fierce!!

Loved the starling video. We see them at wal mart here, but ours are pitch black with a piercing call. They love french fries.

Yep...gotta give him that!

Saw one of the gators in a lake this morning, but he was halfway across, so I couldn't see how big he was. It was nice being able to walk in the sunshine instead of the dark.

Well it rained last night and this morning hundreds of little quail are scurring about seeking worms.

It snowed during the night and this morning. It was a slippery ride into the city but the trees look beautiful and I saw some deer again on my drive into work.

Just be glad your computer does not have Smell-O-Rama!!

My nature observation was watching the news coverage of the earthquake in Oklahoma and some lady said her husband grabbed his gun.

Uh, excuse me there, cooter, you CAN'T shoot an earthquake! Duh! Don't mind me, I am being snooty cuz my neighbor was the San Andreas fault.

We had mega rain storms all night and some of the thunder booms really put the hammer down. It was awesome!

I decided to take a walk today, and the redtide isn't so bad, but there's still dead fish on the shore. Quite sad, really. But after the grim reality of nature, in walking home, I went past this lovely scene...

I'm hoping we'll visit the coast in December or January. Sometimes you've just got to see the sea.
