A tad breezy on the island tonight. Trees are talking big time! Or as we call them in our household - the Ents. Tolkien fans will know!

Is this where the term "goose step" came from?

Glad someone does. Anyway, interesting thought the trees are telling us, "Hey it's windy out here!" S'pose they want in?

Floridians have no business in Colorado. It's just TOO COLD!

Last winter, it got down to a windy-27 and this was my living room window:

The wind picked up so much last night and the leaves were dropping off the trees like mad. It was so loud I thought it was raining at one point. My favorite kind of weather.

Not a fan of the wind!

We live on a mesa and once you get 50 yards from the house, it's all plowed fields. Nothing but blowing dirt. Not to mention that 60/70mph wind gusts like we've had lately tend to knock 4'11" me on my butt!

Evergreen trees are starting to stand out more and more, as all the other trees loose their leaves for the winter.
