I think a little sparrow has chosen a hanging rat tail cactus to build her nest. It's hanging on my front porch. When I first noticed it as I was watering there was only one egg. Now 3..... I've tried to catch momma in it but she flies away.
Kinda scary to be on the bridge with that going on but a great pic with the glow of the bridge lights!

Awesome! As I gazed at the pic, I'm thinking it sure looks like the crow is coming in for a landing and has just touched down. Then the article confirms! The crow hovered like any good pilot and then landed. Maybe those two have learned they hunt well together. Too bad the man wasn't using video. Surely he took several shots. I wanna see!

This morning I saw a roadrunner bird in the parking lot at work. This evening, I saw the first firefly I've seen this year.
Last weekend, I was in Missouri and saw a flock of wild turkeys.
I've seen a road runner at a friend's place years ago. Meep, meep!
