Kinda scary to be on the bridge with that going on but a great pic with the glow of the bridge lights!

My nature observation on Saturday

Me- out in a huge parking lot- the speedway motor race track, turned into the parking lot for the RAM (Rural Area Medical) Health clinic

My car- battery causing minor problems- dead (okay, major problems!)

The fly- the light hits him and shows the shiny green and gold colors against the black that landed my car's open engine

Me- tried to get a quick picture before my rescue came. But the police officer came, the fly flew and I was okay with missing the shot!

Awesome! As I gazed at the pic, I'm thinking it sure looks like the crow is coming in for a landing and has just touched down. Then the article confirms! The crow hovered like any good pilot and then landed. Maybe those two have learned they hunt well together. Too bad the man wasn't using video. Surely he took several shots. I wanna see!

Edit: If you want to see more great pics, go to the Animal Tracks link below the article.

This morning I saw a roadrunner bird in the parking lot at work. This evening, I saw the first firefly I've seen this year.

Last weekend, I was in Missouri and saw a flock of wild turkeys.

This sighting doesn't seem natural unless you live where I live...

Three ducks, quacking, flew over my house yesterday. We don't often see any ducks here.

I've seen a road runner at a friend's place years ago. Meep, meep!

You're gonna need a bigger bird dog to retrieve that one!
