Those are cute honey bees and the yummy color of honey.
That's my first flicker! Very pretty.

Here are a couple that were hanging out on my bird bath a few days ago.
Also, on Sunday, I spotted this flicker at the top of a large, dead tree at the back of my lot. I've really zoomed in here, so it's not a very good photo, but I think flickers are pretty birds. I had to capture him on film ...... oops ...... I mean on memory card!

LOL!! Sorry Red, I hate those things! Glad it wasn't a jellyfish you gotta get someone to pee on your leg. We have them here but don't see 'em much in town.
This is very strange. Ten minutes ago I was out in my yard, photographing my garden because it was very sunny and everything looked beautiful. Now it is dark and raining. I'm amazed at how quickly the blue sky was covered with clouds and the rain came! Kind of cool, actually.

Edit: Four minutes later.........it's sunny again! Incredible!

The decline in bee populations is, indeed, sad and frightening. We need those little buzzers!
We're fortunate that there are still plenty of bees in our area. In fact, I know a couple of beekeepers and they say their colonies are thriving. A good sign.
