I can report that I see NO MOUNTAINS, only Glacial Drumlins. Aka rolling hills. However here is some "nature" I can see from my Dining room window

Default We will find out. ?

We are about to get a close fly-by with one that is ½ the size of a football field.
They say it won't hit us. ???
We will find out soon enough how good the astronomers are at predicting the course.
I guess no one warned anyone about this one that burned up over Siberia.

They were munching on greenery and mother Moose was looking at us. Some how the young one became curious and came closer and closer to me and sniffled me. Mother Moose followed and touched my hand, looked straight in my eyes and turned and both of them walked calmly away,as if they never saw us and disappeared in the forest. We were mesmerized and felt so privileged to have had such close encounter with Moose and calf!
The thrill of a lifetime! What a wonderful story, Almrausch!

The tern in the photo below is trailing a length of fishing line from its wing - no doubt picked up on a dive. I couldn't tell whether a hook was involved, or just a loop. In any event, I watched the bird for quite a while and it caught several fish. It hope it remains untroubled by it.

Me too. At the coast it's not that uncommon to see a gull that's missing a foot. As long as they can fly and have one foot to rest on. What happens if they lose the other?
