Wrens nesting in box in garage, no eggs! I put the box they had started to nest in outside. I don't know what else to do!

Jealous. I can't get anything to nest anywhere. I love the wrens, put stuff out for them to nest in all the time, nothing.

Let them be in the garage! Open a window for them??

I thought about taking a ladder and attaching the box they had the nest in to it, then putting umbrella over nest. DH says I'm crazy! They're very industrious birds so hopefully by putting nest outside they'll figure out they have to make new one.

OK. just checked outside, they've moved to front of house in dogwood tree! Hopefully, all will be well.

I think wrens are my new favorite bird. They are little and feisty! Like me

I saw a wren on the sidewalk yesterday afternoon with a scrap of paper in its beak. Then it flew away like a bat out of . . . or like a wren in a hurry.

Anyone spending much time with Blue Jays know they're clever and bold birds. They are also greedy and think nothing of stuffing their beaks and stashing any excess.

I have pictorial proof.

First, he takes a peanut.

But he's not really hungry. What to do?

He flies to nearby yard and finds a nice, dense tree.

Just tuck it in here, like so....

And let's hope nobody saw....

From a balcony just a few feet away I saw a mourning dove sitting on a nest in a tree looking back like, "What are you looking at?"

Haha.. lol... my morning dove is still sitting on her nest and it will be only a few more days or less we will see her proud offspring. When I garden, she watches me...with the same look and thought

Almrausch, I've been wondering about your doves! I hope you're able to take post pictures when the babies hatch!
