That's not fighting. It's a mating dance performed only by the Anna's Hummingbird. Scientists have studied it and discovered some amazing things about it. I THINK this is the video I saw about it (but could be wrong):
Oh, yeah, I didn't even think of that. I just looked it up. Wow. When I was growing up, we had a feeder at this campsite we rented. It attracted many hummingbirds, but I never saw this behavior. I guess they weren't Anna's? Anyway, you learn something every day. Thanks, Mayberry.
Saw another beautiful white butterfly fluttering about while sitting in my neighborhood park this evening - and listening to Sade tunes. Everything fit beautifully. It was one of those "good things" today.
The hummingbirds are out of control here. Having to fill my feeders at least once a day, sometimes more. Silly things waste so much energy chasing each other!
I saw the moon in a cloudy sky tonight. I almost took a picture.
