Ants are swarming everywhere, coming out in huge numbers over the tiniest morsel of food. I walked into my room today to sit down at my computer and found my desk covered with sugar ants. Which is bizarre because I just totally wiped down the desk, monitor and computer case (inside and out) and vacuumed the floor only a day earlier. I don't eat in my room and don't remember spilling any food. It must have been something...

I am guessing it was an invasion of space aliens and they secrete a scent attractive to ant that you cannot detect.
