While DH was doing an impersonation of a longshoreman in our kitchen (having difficulties with the installation of our new dishwasher), I took the dogs out for a walk. I heard a cacophony in the stand of madrones over a neighbors house -- more drunken flocks of robins!

I didn't even know the madrones had berries! After looking them up I discovered they are edible by humans, and the bark has medicinal properties as well:

Although we have hawks in this area, I don't often get to see one hunting. It's totally cool to see them doing their thing.

Saw a lot of rabbits along the river while walking yesterday. They're hard to spot, can you?

I see one, are there others?

Right now I am seeing our Mother Nature's wind effects on the trees that surround our yard. It's like seeing a huge, leafy ballet!

Ask me how I feel about it if the power goes out.

Hard to spot with a magic marker because they swim or run away.

PS - I only see one wabbit in the center of the frame.
