RIPPING OPEN THE BELLY OF COW ELK WHILE THEY CHASE-DOWN THESE DEFENSELESS ANIMALS AND EAT THEM ALIVE..And where I live we will gladly properly instruct "The Children" how to properly respect firearms and their sporting uses. After the so-called re-introduction of wolves some 15 years ago in our eco-system in western Montana, we have lost, to the savage killing tactics of these wolves, thousands of Deer, Elk and Moose, as well as many hundreds of Sheep, cattle, calves, ranchers horses, dogs and other farm and ranch animals.
Montana's open season on Wolves varies periodically from year to year, so make sure you check with your local F&G representive regarding when the opening date(s) are.

Gold Dust Day Geckos, they don't seem to want to sell me insurance but lately have been giving each other a lot of 'piggy back rides', have a feeling I'll be seeing a bunch of tiny geckos soon.

Son let the bird seed bag out on the deck. Some enterprising squirrel emptied the bag out. Now we have squirrels, chipmunks, bluejays, cardinals, and who knows what else eating off the deck.
No photo unfortunately. I have several flower pots crowded along the edge of a small, sunny terrace. The flowers are of various kinds, but all brightly colored.
This morning a heard some flapping and the sound of a bird walking on the hollow metal railing. I expected to see one of the noisy, aggressive seagulls that nest on our roofs, but it was a gorgeous dove. It was as snow white and delicate as could be, and it got off the railing and walked very carefully among the pots. And it looked so beautiful among the blue, red, pink, yellow and orange blossoms. I thought it must be looking insects, but it seemed to pay no close attention to the foliage and just strolled down through the line of pots, and when it reached the last pot it hopped back up on the railing, took a look back and flew off. A sightseer, I guess.
The other night while I was out in the yard I noticed the new flowers on the cactus. The next morning I went out to see how they were doing in the heat of the sun and noticed several honey bees enjoying themselves.
We just moved and have settled in our new apt. which has a pond. Since I love raptors, I've seen
this magnificent bird catch fish. In the video, the second segment shows his dive from the sky to
the water (btw, no mountains here).
Scroll down a bit and you'll see a picture of what they look like. They are about the size of a nickel.
