Much more relaxing that way (except on the interstate where you have to be looking for the wild drivers. )

Setting out back yesterday morning early I had a family of deer, probably 6 or 8 deer in total walked out of the woods with two tiny babies following the bunch. There they stood in the field out in the open just as if they always belonged there!

I had a dental appointment yesterday morning so had some time to go into the backyard and take some shots. Here is one of some vine leaves in the morning sun.

Hi, gang. Sorry I haven't been around. Lots going on at the NMS household. Nothing major..just busy stuff.

Speaking of busy...looks like lots of nature has been happening around CD. Wish I had time to go back and catch up.

ANyway...this morning, I was "talking" with The Power That Be, discussing health issues that a friend is having and also weaving in something that is concerning my health. I had been looking down at the road (ya never know what might be in front of you here in SW Florida!), feeling kind of worried about things and looked up to see the clearest, brightest rainbow right in front of my eyes. Now, whether it's a sign or not, it made me feel pretty good about things and I'll take it as I see it.

Have a great evening, all. Hope to see you soon.

Deer are truly beautiful. There are many along I-30 between Texarkana and Little Rock. It's a heavily forested area. Also between Louisville and Cincinatti on I-71.
