Lots of drama there. Little eaglet fell out of the nest and died - one was left. But he got stuck in the nest and was injured, so they took him to rehab, then put him back in the nest w/in 48 hours and hoped the parents would come back. It seemed dire, then they returned! So far so good.
I have a hard time watching these cams because I get attached. Sad about Phoebe's eggs. I used to watch a black bear den cam (bear.org) but when a hunter killed a yearling that I'd seen born I just can't take it... :-(

Thanks for all the links, I'm always amazed at how fast they grow! Just look at the Heron's beaks already lol. I'm worried about the Osprey nest in Longmont, 2 eggs but no little ones yet.
^^ Good one! Love all the little open beaks - "Mooooom!!!!!" That's a lot of mouths to feed!
