Default Donkey

I went to see my neighbors young daughter ride in a therapeutic horse show and as I walked around looking at the horses there was this cute old donkey. Isn't he adorable?

Yes he is. There's a burro that lives along a road I take sometimes. There's another road that would be faster, but I often take the scenic route just so I can see him.

As a boy in my early teens took care of several burros. Once you earn their trust and affection they make fine pets, and are very interesting animals, not at all like some of the negative things that are said about them.
