I just discovered that what I think is a robin (could only see her head) has built a nest and is she is sitting on it in our Crepe Myrtle tree. Somehow, I feel honored, as though she has blessed us with her presence. As though she trusts us as the tree is close to our back door. Silly, I'm sure, but there you have it...waiting and eager for further developments on the hatchling front.
