I was thinking, every animal has it's place in the 'circle of life' - while if you are a zebra or a grasshopper it may seem you have the short end of the stick, on the other hand if you're a lion you have to hunt for your living.
There are some animals which don't have to do neither AND have seemingly long, generally stress-free lives. The first which comes to mind are Giant tortoises. If I were an animal it would be a giant tortoise. They live a heck of a long time, they don't do much but eat and mate, they seem pretty relaxed and contented, and of course they have no natural predators! Other than I think elephants or hippos don't have it too bad either on that front.
