Yesterday when I was sitting on the deck, a hummingbird came by my hanging fuchsia (not many
flowers left and I don't think they can get any nectar from it). She looked at the plant which was
about 2 feet from me and then turned towards me hovering (about 18" from my face) with
this inquisitive look of "where is my energy drink?"
Once I was able to see their feet (a rescue at a wildlife center). Talk about adorable. In the
