This morning I looked out back to see our chickens scratching in front of two fawns. The one fawn was doing a double take on our one chicken. It looks as if the fawn is trying to figure out what the heck the chicken is? Their mother was just out of the picture to the left and she was laying down.
My nature experience today occurred while tending the garden, picking and eating wild raspberries in the forest and eyeing the rosehips and cranberries that aren't quite ready - the buzz of hungry mosquitoes!
