Glad the elephant is alright.

Baby elephant rescued from well in India. This was an unused well. This has happened in India and Africa more than once. Sounds like some of these wells need to be capped for the safety of both humans and elephants.

People are dying while trying to protect these wonderful animals. It is very serious business.

Drones are really helping

When these drones zoom in over elephants and rhinos, they stop horrible things from happening.

John Kay, former lead singer of the rock band Steppenwolf, and his wife are also supporters of an elephant preserve in Tennessee.

I remember watching a special once where elephants were filmed on one of their migrations. At the spot, where one of the herd had died, an elephant would go over to the skull of the dead elephant and wrap her trunk around it. She did this every time the herd went through this area.

yes they tend to take a long time touching and moving the bones of deceased family members. I've seen videos of herds passing bones back and forth among each other. It's like they are remembering like humans do with wakes and stories about the deceased. I'm coming back as a loving free roaming mother elephant with lots of babies and children to care for. I've already determined that and put in my request.
