In 1970 I was a Army helicopter pilot in Vietnam. While flying one day something caught my eye but we were already past it but I decided to turn around and go have a look. It was a elephant, all alone in a field of elephant grass. We hovered there a minute or 2 watching him before going on our way. That was pretty cool.

I would love to cuddle with a baby elephant but don't think I would put my whole head in its mouth!

Again, thank you kudzu for the links (can't rep you again ). Finally, no bull hooks and the video about the elephant
and the woman....what a dream come true if I had the chance to work with these wonderful animals as well as help
save them. That clip from the CB show was hysterical.
btw, regarding the elephant paintings - if people buy them (and there are several organizations/sanctuaries)
that money goes towards keeping these havens operating.

Maybe the attention he can bring to the state of elephants and rhinos will help.
