The deep-sea research vehicle, Nautilus had a rare encounter with a huge sperm whale during a dive in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Louisiana. The submersible had reached a depth of 598 metres (1,962 ft) when the curious creature dropped by to take a look. Looking at the video, I would have been a bit concerned about the whale snagging the attached power cord if I was aboard.

Beautiful creatures, I hope they survive.. especially in the Pacific
where there has been much bad news with Fukushima ongoing.

While I don't dispute what RT reported in the interview, it should be remembered that this channel is a Russian propaganda machine which often distorts the facts by portraying Russia's view of events rather than by making unequivocal statements. RT (TV network) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hunting for some Kraken. That mouth is super strange though. I cant see the functionality. It is thin on all sides compared to body. I looks like it does not have as much bite force as an animal that size should have.
