Your comment is ridiculous. Squirrels can feel pain like any other animal. I think dogs are nasty things and I don't like them, but I sure as hell don't think that makes it okay to kill one because it was stupid enough to be in the road. Give me a break.

Aren't you a city bus driver, if so is this reckless coworker also a bus driver.
That is what I would focus on.
+1.

A family.

Yes, seriously. At certain times of the year there are babies in a nest that are dependent on older ones to feed them otherwise they will starve to death. The fact that you think this is funny is disturbing.

I take it you missed the sarcasm? I thought the part about blaming it on the squirrel and stating that squirrels have no feelings gave it away. Give me a break.

Wow. Six pages and the number one thread on the Nature forum is about a PSD, (poor squirrel decision) I'm on board with the deliberate act of running over an animal is pretty bad. But sheesh. This would be better off in the thread about the worst road crossers.

I Have always looked at the Nature forum as a place to discuss cool nature stuff. Not road kill.

I'm wondering if this isn't just someone having fun and making up stories. They were on their way to jump the friend's car off, but the friend was driving?

That argument is inconsequential since the animal in question was NOT used for food, but left there to rot.

Many people have more than one vehicle. It's in the realm of possibility. One that runs, and one that doesn't. He needed two people to drive, one for each car.

My mistake, but have you seen some of the posts on this forum? Plenty of people post crap like that and are NOT being sarcastic.
