possums aren't known for their pleasant dispositions. they're probably mean drunks.

Cash Moore, who owns the liquor store, said the opossum had gotten into a bottle of bourbon. Moore added that as far as he knew, she was 21 years old.

Oh gawd, we have had our share of unruly possums! One of the few animals I don't care for.

I guess it could have been an armadillo getting into the tequila. LMAO, this is hilarious. Whiskey is generally associated with folks getting mean whilst imbibing. Opossums are usually seen as the nastier segment of the wildlife population. Mixing the two ...wellll.

I reckon it's a good thing the critter had drank itself into a stupor. Saved the AC folks the hassle of having to haul it to jail in cuffs. Haha...would have been a tussle maybe. Opossums are just flat nasty when sober. They put me in mind of a VERY large rat with teeth made for doing damage.

I wonder if animal control has a...rehab program...for such critters. It may need counseling before returning to the wild.

NVPlumber, apparently not this one. He/She was at least tame enough to fool someone into thinking
it was a domestic pet.
