My idea of a better environment is emailed gifts replacing holiday gifts as we know it in physical form.

Our issues with sicknesses, plagues and effected wildlife and effected children would be eliminated better.

What are your thoughts to get into ?

From what I can tell, global warming is a real thing. If we could repair the ozone layer, that would be a good start. I think it is going to take more then emailing gifts versus postal delivery of gifts. But that would be a step in the right direction. Small things do add up over time, but it's going to take a massive amount of small things. Or we could kill off 2/3 of the population of the world. But that's a bit more drastic.

One thing I find very offensive, and it would help water resource management, is that we use drinking water to flush our excrement down the toilet. Potable water is a precious commodity in many parts of the world and we treat it like waste.

???? How does saving water in, say, Chicago, with 35 in of annual precipitation and sitting on the banks of 1/5th the world's supply of fresh water help anybody in water-poor Phoenix or Sierra Leone?

Human population reduction, mainly via contraception but also via welcoming other attitudes toward end of life besides Keep Terminally Ill and Pained People Alive As Long as Possible.

Ditching the notion that humans are the be-all, end-all, know-it-all species on this planet.

It doesn’t. It helps water resource management locally, obviously. In some areas, it’s no great matter since there’s an abundance. In other areas it can make a big difference. The environment is also one’s immediate environment, not just a global one.

One of the things I would like to see is less commercial building. Less tarring over the earth for parking lots. Use buildings that are already built and arrange them to suit your company. Use abandoned or defunct factories, warehouses, stores to shelter the homeless and make apartment buildings for people who can pay.

End the use of single use plastics for convenience, i.e. cutlery, bags, etc

Invest in fusion research.

The root cause of all of our environmental problems is overpopulation. Plain and simple.
