Has anyone ever seen a drunken animal of any kind? (humans don't count) I've seen carp that were swimming erratically after feeding on mulberries, but I don't know if they were drunk.

Yes. Animals that I've seen intoxicated from eating fermented fruit include: bees, wasps, opossums, starlings, waxwings and other birds, raccoons, skunks, foxes, chickens, turkeys, dogs, pigs, horses and bears (lots of bears).

As Zoisite says, it's pretty common when excess fruits are fermenting naturally.

Ha.. reminds me. There was an episode of Doc Martin where this fella kept acting drunk and it turned out he had a condition where the fruit he'd been eating was staying in his stomach too long and some other medical stuff and it was fermenting there and making him drunk.
