LeviDunn,

Amazing! I watch videos of some winter hikers - primarily those on the AT. I'm an avid hiker but during spring and summers only. I'm always amazed at winter hikers. How long did it take you to climb up? How long to get back down?

Well, this hike is not good to talk about time, because the person I went with had complications. What I will say is that a few summers ago, an ole' timer on the trail told me that winter hiking was easier than summer hiking. I did not believe him. However, last winter I started hiking, and I have to agree, that hiking in the winter is easier. Regarding times, my winter hikes are similar to my summer hikes, in that I move between 2-3mph.
