Judging by the ones I've seen here lately, we're headed for the next Wisconsonian Glaciation. One guy lumbering across the path was so big, it had a lightening bug leading the way with lantern flashing and carrying a sign: Caution--Wide Load
We've noticed an unusually large presence of spiders around here too. We only had one week of summer and fall started in early August.
