Miccosukee Casino is right there on Krome and the Tamiami Trail. There's the casino, a gas station, and a gun range in that area...if that's the one you're talking about. That's near where I used to work as an airboat captain.

Have gone in there a few times - spent about $20 on Video Poker when everyone from work wanted to "go out". I don't normally gamble. I walked home with about $4, so only $16 spent that night.

Speaking of stupid humans and wild life, there was an incident right there at that casino some years back. A guy was breaking into cars in the casino parking lot. Security spotted him, he ran, and they gave chase. The moron jumped into a canal behind the casino...

Right on top of a gator.

He's now deceased.

Unfortunately, so is the gator.
