I was hoping moving away from the Big 12 could get us away from playing Texas every season, but now that Texas is moving to the Big 10 as well, we get more of the same. At least now I won't have to think about Big 12 conspiracies with the ref's calling all the shots for Texas so they win all their Big 12 games every season.
Texas is more likely to end up in the Pac-10

So now what? Texas re-committed itself to the Big 12. Was this just a conspiracy to get NU and Colorado to bail?

So now the Big 10 has 12 teams, and the Big 12 has 10.

Interesting...

Colorado has to be kicking themselves. I think NU is pretty pleased with their move to the b10. Osborne said that Texas would rule the roost when the b8 and SWC combined. Texas is starting their own network. How is that going to help the b12 schools that stayed? The b12 is all about UT and NU belongs in the b10.

Iowa State, Kansas State, Kansas, Baylor and Missouri have agreed to sign over their share of the Colorado/Nebraska buy out money to Texas, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.

I am so glad to get out of that conference.

Overall, I am ecstatic that they made the move to the Big Ten. I think the conference fits them much better but it will be weird to see the Huskers playing the the Buckeyes, Wolverines, Hawkeyes, etc every year. This sounds weird but the rivalry I will miss the most is Iowa State. Not that it's much of a rivalry but that's typically the only game I go to and usually when it's in Ames. I've been doing that with my buddies for about 10 years now. I think that next year, it will shift to Iowa City.
