Academically, Millard North is better than Millard West, and as for the community, Millard west doesn't exactly have the nicest of kids.

I adjudicate a lot of senior projects for Westside High. I have to say that I'm not overly impressed. It's kind of like buying Nike or Abercrombe & Fitch. You're paying a premium for little more than the name.

We live midtown, but opt into District 66 and have been very happy with the elementary school for our kids. We have had quite a few relo new hires where I work move to Elkhorn area. I am not familiar with their schools but coworkers who live there seem to love both neighborhoods and schools.

I recommend Gretna. We moved here from Millard and have been very happy. GREAT SCHOOLS. Just minutes to the interstate and everything at your fingertips. Harrison Woods, Palisades, Cinnamon Acres, Cheyenne Estates, Lincoln Place, Covington and Tibouron all have newer houses.
